Houston We Have A Problem
Houston we have a problem, growth is slowing, our app is failing!
Hey Folks,
When Roll was originally conceived over a few beers, we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into. How do you take a concept and grow it into something tangible? Something with a life of its own with everchanging goals, data, and projections?
Fast-forward a few years, and multiple updated versions of the app later, our growth metrics are a major part of our day-to-day that guide our decisions. Metrics are a real-time reflection of our successes and failures that we continue to learn from and be humbled by.
Over the past six months, our growth metrics have averaged a steady upward trajectory.
Last week was a different story. While we still managed to add new users and reviews and increase our social reach – compared to the previous week and the six months before, it was our slowest growth week yet.
When you’re pouring yourself into a project such as this, seeing those numbers can be disheartening and alarming.
It’s no news to anyone that last week was full of noise in the marketing universe. The U.S. presidential election was turned on its head, the 2024 Olympics started, and Deadpool and Wolverine were released!
We hope that last week's slow growth was due to the busy news cycle and not reflective of something more significant. Nevertheless, we will continue to let the numbers guide us as we push forward!
As always, thanks for your support.
~Shane

🔥 Roll Mobility WeFunder is Officially Live! 🔥

We are so grateful for the support of our ever-growing community. We want to share our success and offer the opportunity to invest in a project you believe in. We have officially launched a tester campaign on WeFunder to gauge investment interest. WeFunder allows individuals to gain equity in small startups for as little as $100.00 USD.
The Legal Bit – We are 'testing the waters' to gauge investor interest in an offering under Regulation Crowdfunding. No money or other consideration is being solicited. If sent, it will not be accepted. No offer to buy securities will be accepted. No part of the purchase price will be received until a Form C is filed and only through Wefunder’s platform. Any indication of interest involves no obligation or commitment of any kind.

Access Your Summer!

Greece is transforming hundreds of its stunning beaches to be wheelchair accessible, implementing remote-operated ramps, upgrading restrooms, and more.
Designed by the Greek company Seatrac, the ramp project will extend to 287 beaches nationwide, as reported by the Greek Reporter. Already, over 140 beaches have seen these improvements.
“Equal access to the sea is an inalienable human right,” stated Tourism Minister Vassilis Kikilias. “People with disabilities and those with limited mobility now have the opportunity to enjoy beach activities with family and friends, significantly enhancing everyone’s quality of life. They can engage in activities like swimming, which benefit both physical and mental health.”
We think this project is amazing and hope that similar initiatives are launched worldwide. What other ways are you accessing your summer? Parks, trails, campsites, concerts? Tag it on the app and let’s get more people with disabilities outdoors this summer.
Do you have a summer access story you want to share? We want to know about it. Send your story to [email protected].
